18 JunThe Perfect Blush For the “Indian Brides”

As the wedding season is here, I often get asked to do many Indian Bridal makeup.  The most challenging part of Indian bridal makeup is the blush.  Many Indian girls don’t like to wear too much blush.  They often tell me it makes them feel like their are wearing too much makeup and doesn’t compliement their complexion.

I have tried so many blushes more than I know what to do with.   So when I finally  found something I love, I had to share  the perfect blush because that has been a challenge  for me as well.    Here is my secret to the perfect blush which adds radiance, glow and brightens your complexion for that Indian Wedding.

I have finally narrowed it to two blushes  and it all depends on the bride to be.

Nars Blush Enchanted

Nars Blush “Echanted” : I love this cream blush because it has a soft peach tint  with gold sparkle which can be used as a blush or  highlighter. Apply over your foundation on the apples of the cheek  and dab a little around the corner bottom  and sides of the outer eye area. You might notice chunks of glitter which add a sprikle to the complexion.  If you feel the sparkle and glitter is too much, wait a few minutes until it dries and take a brush to dust off the extra which leaves your skin looking lumious and radiant.  Also this is great as a highlighter for chest and shoulder.

Rose De Rose by Terry

I love this Rose de Rose by Terry liquid blush, rich in natural pigments drawn from rose petals to blend easily into cheeks and facial contours. Skin is left feeling smooth and radiant with just a hint of color.  If you don’t like the glitter or sparkle in your blush but just want that beautiful radiant and glow apply a dot of it over your foundation on your cheeks.   You will be shocked for this does for your complexion. This has become one of my new favorite items in my makeup collection.
